Kingston is a wonderful area in U K. It is very colorful and vibrant, with many amenities, with mixture of diferent cultures from all over the world giving the city its metropolitan touch. It is definitely a place where I would like to live myself.

We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.

The location was easy to fund.
The location was easy to fund. I stayed to attend a concert at twickenham stadium.. I was told by the owner that I could get a bus to twickenham from outside the hotel. The family who owned it were lovely. I would stay here again for sure

The Mitre Hotel is a small luxury boutique hotel so I expected a lot from it and I was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and professional. My room was spacious and elegant. The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. They even had gluten-free toasts to fit my dietary needs. The hotel is right by the Thames and the Hampton Court bridge. The view from the breakfast room is splendid and peaceful. A bus stop is 2 mins walking distance from the hotel, making it easy to go to Kingston or elsewhere.
Location: It was perfectly located for Kingston upon Thames across the river and really handy for Hampton Court Palace as it was just on the bus route making it really easy to travel
Parking: excellent parking which was also secure
Staff: all of the staff were excellent and very friendly
Room: lots of space and very comfortable with excellent air conditioning
Breakfast: lots of choice and very good quality (especially the scrambled eggs!)
Just far enough out of Kingston to be quiet at night, great views from our balcony over the river. We used the hotel to visit London and Windsor and for the cost of an Uber and a day travel card it was great value. Cheaper than a days parking in either town. Best part of our stay was the excellent customer service of the staff. Everyone was attentive, friendly and welcoming.
To whomever may complain about this hotel, i think those people are difficult!
The Queen's head was a wonderful experience - very friendly staff, very comfortable bed, food was good and the breakfast was lovely. Wifi worked great, there is an interior court which is very nicely done and everything was clean!
10/10 and definitely recommended!
Lovely room and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant wasn't open, but able to enjoy a drink at the bar. They recommended me a good restaurant just 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Very close to Norbiton station and Kingston hospital. Coffee, a cereal bar, a croissant and cereals on the go given, as I had to leave early.
The staff - especially the Russian speaking (i hope im not mistaken) lady and the gentleman who was mostly there for night shifts.
Traveling with a baby is hard already but the staff tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The rooms were spacious compared to most hoteld in London. The breakfast was also nice.
Breakfast was ok, see comments below. Location was good for us as we were travelling to Wimbledon for the tennis which only took about 15 minutes from the hotel. Room was very warm but there was an air conditioning unit we used.
Bathroom small but adequate with toiletries.
This is the third time we've stayed in the dog friendly rooms adjacent to the main building. Huge rooms with big comfy beds and good facilities. Very happy friendly staff and good food, means this is our favourite pub-hotel in Kingston. Perfect for visiting family in the area.
Jaya is a wonderful receptionist! She just couldn’t do enough for us and it’s so welcoming to have such a friendly face at check-in. Great bed- so comfortable. This delightful hotel is directly across from Hampton Court. Can’t wait to return.
The staff were truly exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great as good as any top hotel I've stayed in. Not the biggest rooms or en suites but I would highly recommend this hotel as value for money.
I was later to the hotel than expected but they were very good and kept my room and checked with me via text that everything was ok. The hotel was well priced, clean and convenient for a quick stop off.
The hotel /pub is very stylish downstairs, lovely period features. The location is great for Hampton Court Palace. Free Parking is very welcome too. The breakfast was also plentiful and very good.
